My son Kyle is 12 and he refuses to get his hair cut anywhere else. Kyle has tried other barbers but they never listen to how he likes his hair. He prefers Carlos's because he comes away with his hair exactly how he likes it. Price is good also

5 star as always. Carlos is amazing and great with my son who we sometimes have issues with getting him into the chair. Also, investing in new equipment to make sure the quality of his haircuts are top notch as always 😎 Thank you

Carlos is a legend. Quality cuts and a really top bloke. Really down to earth and easy to talk to. I've noticed that recently his online his diary has been getting filled up quickly which I think speaks volumes in itself

Thank you for choosing Carlos The Barber.
I'm fully qualified with NVQ Levels 2 & 3. I began my training at Preston's college (Level 2) and then furthered my qualifications at Blackpool & Fylde College (Level 3).
After almost 10 years working in the financial industry and being made redundant, I decided upon a compete career change and turned to do something I could be really passionate about. This also gave me the opportunity to work for myself. As I have three children to sort and look after, this career change allows the flexibility to have a great home/work balance.
I gained a huge amount of knowledge and skills in barbering while working with Gazza at the Chop Shop in Bispham. This gave me the confidence and experience I needed. Due to personal commitments, I then made the tough decision to move on from working with Gazza and I took the plunge to start up my own small business. The time spent at Gazza's taught me so much and I'm very thankful for him giving me a chance as a new barber, especially coming into the industry later in life as I was approaching my 40s.
I love all aspects of barbering but especially enjoy doing scissor work, beard shape-ups, hot towel shaves as well as doing skin fades, which are obviously very popular.
I've got a fantastic barber setup within the stunning Emma Louise Beauty salon on Holmfield Road. By using Nearcut for bookings, this allows me to give my clients plenty of time for their service so as to not make them feel rushed. The bookings mean that my clients can walk in to my shop and usually jump straight in the chair without having a long wait.
In addition to working for myself I also work part time at Blackpool & Fylde College teaching the Level 2 & 3 Barber courses. Hopefully I can inspire some fantastic new barbers to join this amazing industry.
